During the past year and a half of our Blog’s “Under the Jacaranda Tree’s” existence, the largest number of hits we have had, have been from googlers of the Communist Party Princess, Zhang Ziyi!
And the MOST traffic that our blog has ever received, has been on a post which our friend Ivan wrote, titled, “Zhang Ziyi Has No Ass!”
Therefore, Catherine and I have deduced that the Communist Party Princess, Zhang ZiYi, PERSONIFIES the Chinese Communist Party in these times, because she is willing to be whatever the free market wants her to be! Just like all of the most successful prostitutes throughout all history.
And so, Catherine and I say that ZHANG ZiYi’s ASS, IS the face of the Chinese Communist Party!

Just a correction: for some mysterious reasons, the post with the all-time highest number of hits is still “Bart Simpson and Jin Jing’s Spin-doctors“. It’s going to be quite a while before any of the Zhang Ziyi posts can match that.
But “Zhang Ziyi has no ass” did break our one day record.

My father told me he was very impressed by the pride and vigour (and the good manners) of all Germans he took prisoner in WWII, but he told me, “The bloody Russians (his “allies” whom he met in 1945) were pathetic.”

So it would seem that the bloody Stasi Communist bastards of the former East Germany still have a stranglehold on Germany’s civil liberties.
In THAT sense, and ONLY in that sense, I say Nazism and Communism were morally equivalent, and so it seems that today, Germany suffers more from the legacies of Communism than of Nazism.
In my university teaching in various countries, I have shown the Nazi propaganda movie, “Triumph of the Will”, as an illustration of INGENIUS nationalist propaganda! And so I say, it is bloody stupid for this movie to be banned in Germany, one of the greatest democracies in the world today.

I’d say we are doing reasonably well. But the firewall is one trace of what is wrong here. The way our media and officials deal with scientology is another. You can attribute both to the motivation to combat totalitarianism, rather than to communism. But that doesn’t make it right.
Btw, please send me a manual instruction for climbing the German firewall.
